Of particular interest…
- Smartphone sales grew by 29% year on year
- Nokia lost market share to RIM and Apple
- Nokia still has over 45% of the global market
It's also interesting what isn't mentioned in the press release: Windows Mobile. I think this is represented by Fujitsu and a large proportion of the 9.98 million 'Others'. If this is so, Windows Mobile actually has a significant market share even though you might not immediately notice this because the statistics are ranked by handset maker, not OS.
