As early as this year the big three mobile operators, SK Telecom, KTF and LG Telecom, are looking to start selling devices made by Apple, Nokia and Sony Ericsson. South Korea choose CDMA as opposed to the world standard GSM, but with the transition to WCDMA they can now support any standard 3G mobile phone.
